AmsterJAM is free/gratis to join for both competitors and visitors.

For maximum JAM time, the competition will be done in one round/finals of pairs division on Sunday

- Find us at Zandvoort beach:
Walk straight ahead from Zandvoort train station towards the coastline
Zandvoort beach has a wide and flat hard pack.
Sand stays a little wet, providing the best possible surface.
Note: You may prefer to wear shoes. Shells can be sharp - Registration
On the spot at the players meeting on Saturday(!***) - Players-meeting
At the beach***, both Saturday and Sunday at 14:00 hrs.
*** In case of very stormy weather during the entire weekend we will be at Korver Sporthal - the indoor backup on Sunday
- How to get to Zandvoort
Public transport: By train Zandvoort beach is about 50 minutes from Schiphol airport, 30 minutes from Amsterdam, 15 minutes from Haarlem. Information can be found at 9292.nl
Car: Adress for navigation: De Favaugeplein, Zandvoort a paid parking at two minutes walking from the beach/venue
Note: Cars can not be parked on the beach
Bicycle: Zandvoort is a bike-ride away from f.e. Haarlem or Heemstede going through a beautiful area called the waterleidingduinen
- Lodging/Where can you stay?
Hotel or studio It is recommended sharing a studio/house: known in Dutch as appartement.
Make sure to BOOK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE for Zandvoort is a very popular holiday village!
Having said so, it seems that some online booking systems will only start working at januari 1st of the following year!
Budget options:
campsite - Recommended is de Lakens in Bloemendaal since the campsites in Zandvoort can be rather noisy.
Another option could be couch-surfing

The dates for AmsterJAM are planned keeping the tides in mind.
We will be jamming and competing on the very wide and flat hard pack that Zandvoort beach offers.
The sand stays just a little wet, making it a fantastic surface to run, jump and land on.
